January 25 – February 25, 2012 is Student Financial Aid Awareness Month in New York State. The campaign entitled “Start Here, Get There,” has been developed and is managed by the New York State Higher Education Services Corporation (HESC), the State’s student financial aid agency.

The purpose of the campaign is to make New York’s college and college-bound students and families aware of the college financial aid available and to encourage their completion of the FAFSA, the Free Application for Federal Student Aid.
