Student Financial Aid Awareness Month

To receive student financial aid, you need to fill out a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) every school year. It's a lot easier than you think. Follow the simple steps provided and you'll complete the Application in no time.

TAP helps eligible New York residents pay tuition at approved schools in New York State.  An annual TAP award can be up to $5,000.  Because TAP is a grant, you don't have to pay it back.  You can get to the TAP application directly from the FAFSA.
